Google-Re/Marketing-Services

Our concern in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offer and our website. For this reason, we use the marketing and remarketing services (Google Marketing Services) of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (Google).

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

Googles marketing services allow us to display ads for and on our website in a way that is targeted to show users only those ads that potentially reflect their interests. To this end, Google executes a code and uses so-called (re-)marketing tags, with the help of which an individual cookie is stored in the users browser. For the use of cookies see above.

The information collected may also be combined by Google with such information from other sources. If the user subsequently visits other websites, advertisements tailored to his or her interests may be displayed.

In addition, the IP address of the users is recorded via Google Analytics, but immediately pseudonymized (e. g.by deleting the last 8 bits). As a result, only rough localization is possible, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specific person, but for the cookie owner, regardless of who the cookie owner is. Of course, this does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected by Google marketing services about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Googles servers in the USA. The IP address of the user is not merged with data of the user within other offers of Google.

Among other things, we use cookies from the Google marketing service “Google Ad Words”; we may use the Google marketing service “Ad Sense” and its cookies to display third-party advertisements.
